If your piece is still inside its warranty period, speak to the retailer first. A repair carried out by anyone outside their network can end that cover, and we would rather tell you that than take the job.

What counts as designer furniture repair NYC work?
Designer furniture repair NYC covers leather and upholstery work on branded furniture: recoloring, scratch and tear repair, cushion rebuilds, seam work and full reupholstery. The maker does not change the trade. It changes which finish system is on the piece, and therefore which method applies.
Will a repair void my warranty?
It can. Most manufacturer warranties end the moment someone outside their network works on the piece. If the furniture is still inside its warranty period, go to the retailer first.
Does the piece have to leave the apartment?
Often not. Color work, scratches, scuffs and small tears are usually done on site. Cushion rebuilds, panel replacement and reupholstery go to the workshop, and we collect and return.
My brand is not on the list.
We still work on it. The list covers the makers we see most in New York apartments. Send photos and we will tell you the finish system and the options.
Can you match the original color exactly?
On pigmented and semi-aniline finishes, yes: color is mixed against the panel and sprayed. On pure aniline the dye sits inside the hide, so the work is done with what is already there rather than coated over the top.
