Leather Sectional Repair
A sectional comes apart, and that is the good news. Brackets and clips hold the units together, so the worn one leaves on its own and the rest of the run stays in the room.

Renewed comfort
Every type of leather sectional.
Different configurations. The same bench.Every configuration joins differently, so leather sectional repair starts by working out which units have to leave.
L-shape with chaiseThe chaise ages first, and travels alone.
CurvedPanels cut on a radius, patterned off the piece.
RecliningEvery fold is a crease waiting to happen.
U-shape and modularEach unit its own frame and cover.Where sectionals wear first.
Real wear. Real solutions.Nobody sits evenly along a sectional. The corner and the chaise take the traffic and age on their own schedule. Leather sectional repair rarely starts at the end of a run.

One colour, carried out to every seam.
The join between two units is a vertical line under one lamp, in one plane. A near-miss survives across a room. It does not survive across a seam, which is why we measure the match against CIE colorimetry, not judged by eye.
So colour is mixed against the panel it will sit next to, in the light that panel lives in, and carried to the full seam rather than feathered away mid-cushion. More before and after work.
One sectional. Many solutions.
Targeted repairs. Complete transformations.Almost every leather sectional repair lands on one of three answers, and the cheapest one is usually the right one.
Repair targeted areas
Cracks, tears, split seams and flat foam, stopped at a stitch line.
Restore colour and finish
Cleaned back, recoloured panel by panel, sealed.
Reupholster completely

Cushion and foam rebuild
New inserts inside the original covers when the leather is sound.
Colour restoration
Mixed against the neighbouring panel, not a swatch card, and checked in daylight.
Edge and piping repair
Piping sits proud of every surface, so it goes thin long before the panel does.
Recliner footrest upholstery

Motors, wiring and a cover that clears both.

Leather sectional repair, question by question.
Can you take one section and leave the rest?
Normally the plan. The units are separate frames joined at the returns, so the worn one travels and the rest stay in the room. It just cannot come back a slightly different colour, so send a photo of the section beside it too.
The chaise is worn but the rest looks new. Repair or recolour?
Usually both, and the recolour rarely stops at the worn patch. Colour on the thin band alone leaves a visible edge. We take the panel seam to seam, so the change lands on a stitch line, where the eye already expects one.
Will the repaired section really match the others?
That is the whole test of the job. Colour is mixed against the neighbouring panel, not a card, and checked in daylight. Where one section has faded in window light, bringing them all to one colour is more honest than chasing the odd one.
The seats have gone flat but the leather is fine.
Then the leather is not the job. Foam and the deck under it are replaced and the original covers go back on. Worth saying up front: different work, different price.
How should I photograph a sectional for a quote?
Three frames, in daylight, no flash: the whole run, the damage close up, and the section beside it. Most leather sectional repair quotes are settled on those.
Include the sections that are staying.
The damage tells us what the repair is. The section beside it tells us what the repair must match — the half people leave out.
